(Bank hol Monday) Kent’s River Medway, shoot the canoe shoot and then round
off the trip with a few sociable drinks around the roaring pub fire.

Thu 05 - Mon The CAP Easter Expedition. Grade 3 -4 Whitewater paddling,
in either or both of The Pennines and the Lake District.
Open to intermediate paddlers and above.
Possibly chance for a “partners” non paddling programme ?
Own fun by day, joining paddlers in the evening and watching big drops !

Further Social events for 2012 will be added in due course.
We also aim to take advantage of the new Olympic Whitewater Course in The Lee Valley,
New dates are going to be announced for post 19 January 2012 when both courses will run simultaneously,
we will then aim to run a further hire(s) of the Legacy course but with qualified paddlers being able to book
on the Olympic course during same afternoon.

NOTES….. Please read ……
A number of weekends have been left free to enable our Grade 4 -5 paddlers able to respond to water
levels and mount their own trip at trips at short notice. Please circulate trips amongst relevant paddlers.
All events, whether daytrips, weekends away or social events will generally only take place if they are
well supported, subject to having sufficient a available coaches / experienced paddlers to lead such trips
and to weather conditions and water levels being suitable.
We are a small Club with few coaches and as such we demand far too much of their time, accordingly
some of our day trips may be led by experienced paddlers without any coaches being in attendance.
Equally on other trips our more experienced paddlers will support the efforts of our coaching team.
On some trips, particularly the Whitewater trips our coaches will be acting beyond their coaching remit.
