Regents Canoe Club will run two Introduction to White Water Kayaking courses in 2010. Each course will cater for up to 15 students.

The courses are designed for adults (18+) who have little or no previous experience of paddling kayaks, but who want to paddle on white water. You begin by learning how to control your boat on the Regents canal and at pool sessions, before progressing to moving water and ultimately your first taste of white water!

The courses run over a period of six weeks, with six evening sessions in London, a day trip and a weekend away. Course one starts on Thursday 15th April. Course two starts on Thursday 8th July.

All of our instructors are experienced white water kayakers who will be sympathetic to any fears or concerns you may have. They are all volunteers and no one gets paid for their time.

The total cost of the course is £190 per person. This includes all tuition, hire of equipment as well as breakfast, lunch and accommodation on the weekend away.

Full information, including booking information, is available at http://www.regentscanoeclub.co.uk/courses.htm#introww
