Venue will depend on water levels, details TBA. If there’s been plenty of rain we may try the Mole, Wandle or Chelmer but if not another local River will be decided upon, all good fun, wherever we go !

Chris is off to Lee valley on Saturday 1st June and paddling from 12-2pm.
This is a not a private hire so people would need to have passed there assessment or book themselves in for it on the day.
Please let me know if you are interested, and then if enough of us are we can all book individual and condense for traveling.

Alps Trip

We are going for a week in the Alps next year stoping in the Beautiful chalets of Chilled Mountain.

This trip is open to CAPers, Family and partners and is a trip with a mixture of activities not solely kayaking.
WE plan to have a week at chilled mountain 15th June 2012- 22nd June 2013 with the following mixture of activities-:
Kayaking- White water
Kayaking- Flat water
Mountain biking
Walking in the Alps
Chilling in the country side
Oh and how could I forget in true CAP style some Beer and of course being in France wine and of Course a CAP celebration of our 10th year.
We intend to have 4/5 days paddling, with at least 2 being open to all, this does however depend on who want to come. We are looking at hiring some guide to lead a day at each ability of paddler. So ideally you would have 1 day with an experienced guide. We would then also plan some days off paddling to relax, let the coaches rest to enjoy the other activities available.
The costs-
• £200 for 6 night 7 days accommodation including breakfast and dinner. This is bassed on 2 people sharing a room.
• Transport to get there- can be done in a mixture of flights and driving. Approximate cost £100
• Coaches - so we can all progress and have safe and fun time of river approximately £50 per person.

CENTRAL LONDON PADDLE

Paddle the mighty Thames through Central London. Firstly we cross London by tube, in full paddling gear, CAP style ! then we paddle past Tower of London, under all the central London Bridges, London Eye, House of Parliament etc,.
Start off in sight of Canary Wharf, finish off in sight of Battersea Power Station, on a tide free day ! We finish off with a nice hot shower and then off to the local pub to recall the tales
