From September to April we run Pool Sessions on alternate Wednesday evenings.

These provide an ideal opportunity to sample Kayaking for the first time, under expert supervision, in a very large indoor heated pool.

These sessions provide for free paddling, maybe some fun and games or a quick round of Water Polo.

There is plenty of opportunity to practice your skills and to receive encouragement and tuition, from both our small team of coaches and our friendly experienced members.

All sessions are overseen by a qualified lifeguard.

WINTER 2009/2010 Pool Sessions

A total of seventeen sessions all lasting from 9.00pm to 10.00pm unless otherwise shown.

Pool sessions vary in content but usually comprise time for personal paddling, having fun and developing skills.

A limited amount of coaching is available from our small team of enthusiastic and motivational coaches.

We often finish the sessions with a fun game of Kayak polo.

The cost per session is £6 per member and £8 for non members. This helps toward the hire costs of the Pool.

Prebooking is essential in order to ensure that we do not exceed the maximum number of boats allowed in the Pool.
